Frequently asked questions

Where do the sector values come from?
From published market averages, cross-checked across several sources, for which we keep the consultation date. We neither invent them nor recompute them on our own data.
Why calculate per sector rather than one blanket average?
Because the gap is large. A high average basket needs far fewer visitors for the same revenue. Applying one constant across all sectors gives a wrong answer for almost everyone.
Does this result apply to my store?
It is a sector order of magnitude, not a forecast. Your actual conversion rate and basket may differ noticeably from your sector's average.
